Oliver Directing On The Set of "Slave Warrior," The Film

Statement by director - Oliver Oscar O. Mbamara.

"SLAVE WARRIOR: THE BEGINNING is my feature film directorial debut. It was challenging directing a cast and crew of over a hundred and fifty (150) people. It is even more challenging having to manage such number in the middle of the African jungle. But for the most part, it was fun, and I appreciate the outcome. I had a wonderful team and I am very grateful for their cooperation. I look forward to working with all of them again in the shooting of the second installment of this SLAVE WARRIOR trilogy – THE RESCUE."

"It is refreshing and practically reassuring and rewarding how Life provides one with such needed helpful hands and persons to compensate for any seeming lack or limitations in man's resources - even for a low-budget filmmaker. I am indeed most grateful for all the support I received in making this film. To all and for all, I say thank you!" - Oliver Oscar Mbamara (Director).
